I find that pounding out flat spots makes the wheel even weaker. If the flat spot is so bad that it's necessary to do this, it's probably time for a new hoop.

lol, yup, the rebound section seperated its self from the compression section, hard to explain, so neither work, i only need one small part to fix it though, gonna see if i cant find a junk one to use for parts.
